Volleyball Recap: Jordan Pierce Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Pinecrest Academy Cadence

Chaparral won the last time they faced Pinecrest Academy Cadence and things went their way on Friday too. The Cowboys walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cougars.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chaparral to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordan Pierce, who had ten kills, six digs, and three aces. Pierce is on a roll when it comes to kills, as he's now had five or more in each of the last 50 games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Bade, who had eight kills and one block.

Chaparral's victory bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Pinecrest Academy Cadence, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Chaparral wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Desert Oasis on the 18th. As for Pinecrest Academy Cadence, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Hurricane on the 19th.
