Softball Recap: Canton-Galva Takes a Loss

Canton-Galva was the 15-12 winner over Little River when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles came up short against the Redskins on Tuesday, falling 19-11. The Eagles' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row dating back to last season.

Canton-Galva saw nine different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Krysten Fenstermaker, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one double, and one RBI.

Canton-Galva's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Little River, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

While Canton-Galva had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
