Basketball Game Preview: TERRA Environmental vs. North Miami Pioneers

TERRA Environmental will face off against the North Miami Pioneers on Monday. TERRA Environmental will be strutting in after a victory while North Miami will be coming in after a loss.

Last Friday, TERRA Environmental strolled past Dr. Krop with points to spare, taking the game 60-46.

TERRA Environmental had a senior duo take command as Nick Merlo shot 7-for-10 from long range and almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine boards and Paul Fabian went 6 of 10 on his way to 15 points. Merlo has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last nine times he's played. Mateo Baron was another key player, putting up ten points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, North Miami was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by Jackson 75-45. The matchup marked the Pioneers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

TERRA Environmental's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for North Miami, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.

TERRA Environmental ended up a good deal behind North Miami in their previous matchup back in January of 2021, losing 64-50. Thankfully for TERRA Environmental, Chamon Metayer (who went 9 for 10 en route to 23 points and seven boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
