Basketball Recap: Fishburne Military Takes a Loss

Fishburne Military was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Blue Ridge Barons, falling 83-22. The Caissons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 53-10.

Leading Blue Ridge to victory were Colby White and Lambert Brokamp. White went 8-for-11 to rack up 20 points, while Brokamp almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Brokamp a new career-high in assists (five). Another player making a difference was Baur Lloyd, who posted nine points.

Fishburne Military's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Blue Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which somehow still isn't as good as their 26-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Fishburne Military nor Blue Ridge have any future games scheduled.
