Ysleta had won 11 straight games and Azaiah Thompson did his part to make it 12 on Tuesday. The Ysleta Indians came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 49-45 W against the Riverside Rangers thanks in part to Thompson, who dropped a double-double with 31 points and ten boards. That makes it 21 consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Ysleta's points.

Several Rangers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Juan Salgado, who posted 15 points. Marcus Jauregui was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Ysleta's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points over those games. As for Riverside, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-10.
