Football Recap: Chiles Comes Up Short

Chiles fell victim to Florida State University High School and their airtight defense on Saturday. They took a 7-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Florida State University High School Seminoles. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Timberwolves were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Chiles and nudges their season record down to 5-3. As for Florida State University High School, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Chiles will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Godby at 7:00 p.m. on March 20th. Florida State University High School also won't see the field for a while: their next contest is against Suwannee at 6:30 p.m. on March 18th. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Florida State University High School 3.1, Suwannee 6.6) so any points scored will be well earned.
