Football Recap: No Winner in Spencerport's First Game

Spencerport was not able to secure the win in their season-opener on Tuesday. Neither they nor the Eastridge Lancers could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 6-6 tie.

While Eastridge couldn't quite bring home the 'W', the team still got a big performance from sophomore Alyssa Cowart, who picked up 51 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 61 yards on only five carries.

With that tie, Eastridge's record moves to 3-3-2.

As of now, neither Spencerport nor the Lancers have any future games scheduled.
