Basketball Recap: Nodaway Valley Gets the Win

Nodaway Valley came into Friday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They escaped with a win on Friday against the Southeast Warren Warhawks by the margin of a single free throw, 48-47. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 62-36 back in December of 2024.

Nodaway Valley's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-10. As for Southeast Warren, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nodaway Valley has already played their next contest (against Southwest Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Southeast Warren has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Wayne.
