Basketball Recap: Broadway Takes a Loss

Broadway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 56-51 heartbreaker at the hands of the Harrisonburg Blue Streaks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Streaks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-51 back in January.

Broadway's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Harrisonburg, their victory bumped their record up to 5-14.

When Broadway and Harrisonburg next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Broadway will take on Turner Ashby and their five-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Harrisonburg will try to stop Spotswood's 12-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
