Soccer Game Preview: Centennial vs. Garland

The Centennial Titans will take on the Garland Owls in a tournament on Saturday.

If Garland heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Centennial took over last week. The Titans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over McKinney on Friday.

Meanwhile, neither Garland nor Klein Collins could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Garland's draw gives them a new season record of 0-1-2. As for Centennial, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Centennial suffered a grim 5-2 defeat to Garland in their previous matchup back in December of 2020. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Titans were down 3-0.
