Preview: Bruce Trojans vs. Wheeler Eagles        
        
		
            
 The Bruce Trojans will be staying on the road  on Thursday to face off against the Wheeler Eagles at 11:30  a.m.  on December 28th. Wheeler took a loss in their last  game and will be looking to turn the tables on Bruce, who comes in off a win.
 Even though Vardaman scored an imposing 57 points on Thursday, Bruce still came out on top. Bruce pulled ahead with a  58-57 photo finish over Vardaman. The score was all tied up  28-28 at the break, but Bruce was the  better team in the second half.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bruce to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Jay Cole Williams, who  scored 13 points along with seven  rebounds. Those seven  rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ankavious  Glass, who  scored 11 points along with nine  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Wheeler came up short against Tishomingo County on Wednesday and fell  56-48.
 Bruce's victory  ended a three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 5-8. As for Wheeler, they bumped their record down to 9-7 with that  loss, which was their fourth straight  on the road.
