Softball Recap: Trigg County Comes Up Short

Trigg County's last matchup with Hopkinsville could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Thursday. The Wildcats came up short against the Tigers, falling 16-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-17 back in April.

Trigg County's loss dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Hopkinsville, the win keeps they at an undefeated 18-0.

Trigg County has already played their next game (against Livingston Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hopkinsville, they will face off against Muhlenberg County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
