Smith made his presence known in Oakland Tech's 22-1 win
Jordan Smith produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Oakland Tech to the win on Wednesday. Fremont had no answer to Smith as he scored four runs and stole four bases while getting on base in two of his five plate appearances.
Smith's strong effort led Oakland Tech over Fremont and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Oakland Tech is 4-0 against Fremont going back to April of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
