Preview: Keenan Raiders vs. Columbia Capitals
Keenan is 8-0 against Columbia since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Keenan Raiders will look to defend their home court against the Columbia Capitals at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Keenan focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday.
Keenan scored the most points they've had all season to find success. They claimed a resounding 75-39 win over Columbia on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Keenan has managed all season.
Brian Sumpter and Cedric Schofield were among the main playmakers for Keenan as the former dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds and the latter dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. Sumpter hasn't dropped below two blocks for five straight games. Marcus Simmons jr was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with four steals and two blocks.
Keenan's win bumped their record up to 7-16. As for Columbia, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13.
Everything came up roses for Keenan against Columbia when the teams last played on Tuesday as the team secured a 75-39 victory. Will Keenan repeat their success, or does Columbia have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
