Softball Recap: Pierre T.F. Riggs Takes a Loss

Pierre T.F. Riggs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 7-2 to the Roosevelt Rough Riders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Governors of the 5-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Pierre T.F. Riggs' loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Roosevelt, their win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Pierre T.F. Riggs is set to challenge their familiar foe Washington at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Roosevelt will take on rival Aberdeen Central at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
