Recap: Thomas Jefferson Vikings vs. J.R. Tucker Tigers
On Thursday, The Thomas Jefferson Vikings got themselves on the board against the J.R. Tucker Tigers, but the J.R. Tucker Tigers never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Tigers 53-0 on the road. The result was nothing new for Thomas Jefferson, who have now won four contests by 38 points or more so far this season.
Thomas Jefferson got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ty-keycee Parker out in front who rushed for 139 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. Parker was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 69 yards. Carmell Mccloud got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Thomas Jefferson's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Rodney(rj) Allen and his two sacks.
Thomas Jefferson's victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.3 points per game. As for J.R. Tucker, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
