Football Recap: Little Elm Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Thursday just wasn't the day for Little Elm's offense. They were beaten by the Guyer Wildcats 29-0 on Thursday. The Lobos haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Even if they lost, Little Elm's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Aidan 'Blue' Mayne was especially locked on to Guyer's QB and sacked him twice.

Kaedyn Cobbs was his usual excellent self, rushing for 121 yards and two scores for Guyer. Cobbs has become a key player for the Wildcats: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise. Another rusher making a difference was Aiden Martens, who rushed for 87 yards and one TD.

Little Elm's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Guyer, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
