Baseball Recap: White Bear Lake Takes a Loss

White Bear Lake has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.25 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They lost 13-7 to the Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

White Bear Lake's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Cretin-Derham Hall, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-4-1.

White Bear Lake wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-7 defeat against Centennial on the 17th. As for Cretin-Derham Hall, they will take on Stillwater at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Raiders 4, the Ponies 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
