Softball Recap: Canastota Extends Winning Streak to Four

Canastota waltzed into their game on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with an 11-8 win over the Clinton Comets. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 15, 2019, but that streak is no more.

Canastota's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Clinton, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Canastota didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-7 defeat against Little Falls on the 8th. As for Clinton, they will head out to face off against Duanesburg at 10:05 a.m. on Saturday. The Comets are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
