Football Game Preview: Trinity Tigers vs. Kountze Lions

The Trinity Tigers will face off against the Kountze Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Trinity knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Kountze likes a good challenge.

Trinity is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Woodville on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Tigers had to suffer through a 68-35 loss at the hands of the Eagles. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three contests, Kountze finally came back down to earth last Friday. They lost to Buna at home by a 31-12 margin. The loss was the Lions' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Kountze fell to 3-1. As for Trinity, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
