Volleyball Recap: Calexico Mission Takes a Loss

Calexico Mission was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Borrego Springs Rams. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the RoadRunners of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-9, 25-11.

Calexico Mission's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Borrego Springs, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-15.

Looking ahead, Borrego Springs will host West Shores at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Calexico Mission will be paying especially close attention to the Rams' contest: after the Rams face off against the Wildcats, they'll take on Calexico Mission again at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
