Soccer Recap: Cameron Takes a Loss

Cameron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Maryville Spoofhounds. While losing is never fun, Cameron can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 207th, while Maryville are ranked 62nd).

Cameron's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Maryville, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cameron will head out to square off against Bishop LeBlond at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Maryville, they will challenge Savannah at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Maryville will need to watch out since Savannah have now posted at least four goals in their last seven matches.
