Volleyball Recap: Glenbrook North Comes Up Short

Glenbrook North lost against Lake Zurich last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Spartans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Luke King paced Glenbrook North's offense, picking up seven kills. King got some help from Devin Lee and his 11 assists.

Glenbrook North now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Lake Zurich, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-2 record this season.

Glenbrook North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Hersey on the 9th. As for Lake Zurich, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Oak Park-River Forest on the 9th.
