Basketball Game Preview: Indian River Braves vs. Oscar Smith Tigers

Indian River is 1-9 against Oscar Smith since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Indian River Braves will look to defend their home court against the Oscar Smith Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Saturday, Indian River lost to Heritage at home by a 79-62 margin.

Meanwhile, Oscar Smith entered their tilt with King's Fork on Friday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They walked away with a 68-59 win over the Bulldogs.

Oscar Smith pushed their record up to 18-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.4 points over those games. As for Indian River, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.
