Baseball Recap: Lima Senior Takes a Loss

Lima Senior was the 11-4 winner over Start when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Lima Senior came up short against Start on Monday, falling 11-5. Lima Senior has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Emmanuel Jokinen-Rutz made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Yahir Brito-Diaz, who scored a run while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Lima Senior now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Start, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Lima Senior wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 15-4 victory against Waite on the 9th. Start has also already played their next game (against Bowsher), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
