Basketball Recap: North East Beats Bohemia Manor for Their Third Straight Win

North East won against Harford Tech last Thursday with 34 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The North East Indians walked away with a 34-27 victory over the Bohemia Manor Eagles. Winning may never get old, but the Indians sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North East to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ada Dominick, who posted seven points in addition to 11 rebounds and five steals. Dominick has become a key player for North East: the team is 6-1 when she posts at least eight boards, but 4-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Kierstyn Lagano, who earned 11 points and eight rebounds.

North East smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

North East now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Bohemia Manor, they dropped their record down to 1-16 with the loss, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

North East has already played their next game, a 44-40 win against Aberdeen on the 18th. Bohemia Manor has also already played their next contest (against Joppatowne), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
