Greenwich put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ridgefield Tigers. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

While Greenwich won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 25-22.

Heidi Zieme paced Greenwich's offense, picking up 15 kills. Zieme got some help from Victoria Sullivan and her 33 assists. Sullivan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Greenwich's victory bumped their record up to 15-0. As for Ridgefield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Greenwich is set to challenge their familiar foe Norwalk at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Ridgefield will face off against rival Trumbull at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
