Basketball Game Preview: Hilltop Lancers vs. High Tech NC Raptor

Having just played yesterday, the Hilltop Lancers will head out on the road to face off against the High Tech NC Raptor at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hilltop is headed out to face High Tech NC after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Lancers blew past Southern California Yeshiva 58-23 on Wednesday. The Lancers not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since December 5, 2024 (when they won 65-18).

Hilltop's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Roman Miramontes, who shot 43% from the field to rack up 12 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, and Isaiah Williams, who went 6-for-10 en route to 13 points and three steals. What's more, Miramontes posted three blocks, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Adrian Alvarez was another key player, putting up six points and five assists.

Meanwhile, High Tech NC hadn't done well against Classical Academy recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Raptor walked away with a 53-45 win over the Caimans.
