Basketball Game Preview: Hot Springs County Bobcats vs. Wright Panthers

A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Bobcats face off against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Hot Springs County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Everything went their way against Rocky Mountain as Hot Springs County made off with a 61-38 win. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Wright came tearing into Friday's match with 13 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 71-63.

Hot Springs County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.9 points. Wright's victory bumped their record up to 22-2.
