Basketball Recap: Florence Comes Up Short

Florence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were dealt a 59-31 loss at the hands of the Walnut Springs Hornets.

Florence's record is now 4-13. As for Walnut Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Florence will be taking part in a tournament against Priddy at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Walnut Springs, they will venture away from home to square off against Lingleville at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
