Softball Recap: St. Amant Gators vs. Central Wildcats
St. Amant stacked a 15th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Central Wildcats a 16-0 shutout. 16 seems to be a good number for St. Amant as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Braylee Decoteau looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Mary Beth Zeller, who went 3-for-3 with a home run, five RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Alix Franklin, who scored three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
