Basketball Recap: Hoonah Comes Up Short

Hoonah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 60-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hydaburg Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-44 on Saturday.

Hoonah's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Hydaburg, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

Coming up, Hoonah will venture away from home to challenge Angoon at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Hoonah has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Hydaburg, they will take on Hoonah in a tournament on Thursday.
