Herrin fell victim to Mascoutah and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Herrin saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nick Hubbard, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Herrin's loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Mascoutah, their win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-7.

Herrin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mascoutah, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against O'Fallon at 11:00 a.m.
