Softball Recap: Carl Hayden Community Comes Up Short

Carl Hayden Community lost against Fairfax on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Falcons came up short against the Stampede, falling 10-3. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Maria Beltran was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two doubles.

Carl Hayden Community's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Fairfax, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-6.

Carl Hayden Community wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 30-10 victory against Metro Tech on the 28th. As for Fairfax, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 28-4 win against Washington on the 25th.
