Basketball Game Preview: Woodridge Bulldogs vs. Cloverleaf Colts

The Woodridge Bulldogs will face off against the Cloverleaf Colts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Woodridge came up short against Crestwood and fell 55-45.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cloverleaf). They strolled past Black River with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 97-79. The win was nothing new for the Colts as they're now sitting on four straight.

Cloverleaf is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.0 points per game. As for Woodridge, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-7.

Woodridge didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Cloverleaf in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 64-60 victory.
