Soccer Game Preview: Gonzaga Prep vs. Central Valley

The Gonzaga Prep Bullpups will face off against the Central Valley Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Gonzaga Prep's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Gonzaga Prep fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Mead on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Central Valley kept a clean sheet against Cheney on Wednesday. They blew past the Blackhawks 3-0. Central Valley haven't had any issues with Cheney recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Central Valley now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Gonzaga Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4-2.
