Steeleville won the last time they faced New Athens and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warriors walked away with a 2-0 win over the Yellow Jackets. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Steeleville took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-13.

Several Yellow Jackets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jamie Wilson, who had 11 digs. Another player making a difference was Lilly Tucker, who had ten digs and five kills.
