Volleyball Recap: Phoenix Christian Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Phoenix Christian lost against Scottsdale Christian Academy back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cougars came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-18, 25-10.

Leading Scottsdale Christian Academy to victory were Lucy Dickerson and Emma Weller. Dickerson had 11 digs and four assists, while Weller had seven digs and two aces. Those seven digs gave Weller a new career-high.

Phoenix Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 21 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-5 record this season.

Phoenix Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fountain Hills at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, they have already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Gilbert Christian on the 2nd.
