Softball Game Preview: Skaneateles Lakers vs. Central Rebels

The Skaneateles Lakers will head out to challenge the Central Rebels at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Skaneateles has given up an average of 11.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Skaneateles managed to slip by Westhill the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lakers came up short against the Warriors on Monday, falling 20-10. Surprisingly, this marked the Lakers' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Meanwhile, Central had to start their season on the road two weeks ago, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 12-0 to Oswego.

Skaneateles' loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Skaneateles took their victory against Central in their previous matchup back in April of 2019 by a conclusive 30-0 score. Will the Lakers repeat their success, or do the Rebels have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
