Lee Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-47 heartbreaker at the hands of the Southeastern Christian Academy Warriors. One positive for the Falcons, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Lee Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Madison Mashburn, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Mashburn a new career-high in steals (seven). Another player making a difference was Harley Wicker, who posted 11 points in addition to six assists and six boards.

Even though they lost, Lee Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Leading Southeastern Christian Academy to victory were Elizabeth Dickerson and Ella Gregory. Dickerson almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine boards, while Gregory had 16 points and six steals. Dickerson is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Lee Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Southeastern Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

As for Southeastern Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 51-33 defeat against Triad Baptist Christian Academy on the 14th.
