Soccer Recap: Dillon Comes Up Short at Home Against Darlington

Dillon unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Darlington Falcons by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Wildcats couldn't quite close it out.

Darlington's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Dillon will head out to square off against Georgetown at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Darlington, they will face off against Lower Richland at 7:30 p.m. on March 11th. Darlington's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
