Grapevine has gone a perfect 10-0 against Ryan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Mustangs will face off against the Raiders at 6:30 p.m. Grapevine will be strutting in after a victory while Ryan will be coming in after a loss.

It looked like the Kentucky Derby when Grapevine challenged Denton on Friday. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Broncos.

One reason for the win was Grapevine's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Ryan didn't have quite enough to beat Richland on Friday and fell 3-2. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Ryan actually scored more points across those five sets (111-108), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-23, 20-25, 25-22, 20-25, 18-16.

Grapevine will have to contain Abigail Vasquez as she made an impact in Ryan's last game. She had 27 digs and nine assists. Vasquez has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 16 times she's played.

Ryan's defeat dropped their record down to 17-19. As for Grapevine, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-17 record this season.

Grapevine took their win against Ryan in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
