Volleyball Recap: Claymont Takes a Loss

Claymont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ridgewood Generals. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Generals earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-12, 21-25, 25-21, 25-23.

When it comes to explaining why Claymont lost, don't look at Kendyl Wallace. Despite the final result, she had 11 digs and two aces. Wallace is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Claymont's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Ridgewood, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-9.

Claymont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Tuscarawas Valley on the 2nd. As for Ridgewood, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Indian Valley on the 2nd.
