Basketball Recap: Blevins Takes a Loss

Blevins was the 72-68 winner over Nevada when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Blevins Hornets were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 69-68 to the Nevada Blue Jays.

Blevins' loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Nevada, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-6.

Blevins will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ouachita at 7:00 p.m. on February 14th. Nevada has already played their next game (against Murfreesboro), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
