Baseball Game Preview: Amite County Trojans vs. Enterprise Yellowjackets

Amite County hasn't had much luck against Enterprise recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Trojans will be playing at home against the Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. Amite County has given up an average of 13.7 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Meanwhile, it may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Enterprise ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past Oak Forest Academy 9-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Enterprise has posted since March 3rd.

The team relied heavily on AJ Raiford, who went 2-for-6 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Jiles Williams, who went 3-for-6 with two runs and one RBI.

Amite County's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Enterprise, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season.
