That came on the heels of a 56-54 win over Fairborn where Hall had 19 points and eight rebounds and hit the game-winner as time expired.

Johnson, who was also on the second-place 400 freestyle relay and the fourth-place 200 freestyle relay, was state champion in the 100 free and runner-up in the 200 last year.

* Clare Robertson, Crestview (Ashland) SoftballSenior went 5-for-5 with 10 RBI, six runs, two home runs and a double in a win over Western Reserve. The 10 RBI in a game is tied for fourth best in OHSAA history. In three wins over Western Reserve (two) and Norwalk St. Paul, Roberston went 8-for-12 with 17 RBI, 10 runs and three home runs.

* Justyce Vrable, David Anderson (Lisbon) SoftballFreshman went 14-for-21 with 16 runs, 15 RBI, three doubles, three stolen bases, a triple and home run as the Blue Devils went 4-1 against Cardinal Mooney, Peebles, Beaver and Leetonia (doubleheader). Currently batting .671 on the season with 55 hits, 54 RBI, 53 runs, 10 triples, nine home runs and nine doubles.
* Ashlee Montalvo, Fredericktown SoftballSenior became the 67th played in state history to hit three home runs in a game when she went 4-for-4 with eight RBI, four runs, three HRs and a double in a 12-1 win over Grandview Heights.

* Madi Ogden, Williamsburg SoftballSophomore had 11 RBI, nine runs, eight hits, four stolen bases and three doubles in wins over Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington, East Clinton and North College Hill. Was also the winning pitcher (and struck out 20) against RULH and EC. Batting .563 with 78 RBI, 62 runs, 37 stolen bases, 20 doubles and 13 home runs. Is 16-0 as a pitcher with 110 Ks.
* Maci Head, Crestwood (Mantua) SoftballSophomore went 3-for-3 with three home runs, seven RBI and three runs in a 10-0 win over Ravenna.

* Emma Gumont, Champion (Warren) SoftballSophomore went 2-for-3 with two home runs, five RBI and two runs in a 20-0 win over Conneaut. Followed that by going 3-for-3 with two home runs, four RBI, three runs and a double in a 14-0 win over Columbiana Crestview. Also went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two runs and an RBI in a 10-0 win over Newton Falls.
* Jasmine Stringham, Clay (Oregon) Girls LacrosseJunior scored seven goals in an 11-2 win over Findlay. Added four goals and an assist in a 12-6 loss to Bedford (MI). Has 46 goals this season.

* Jason Holly, Upper Sandusky BaseballSenior pitcher improved to 7-0 with 13 strikeouts in a 11-2 D-III regional semifinal win over Oak Harbor. Has a 0.86 ERA and 91 Ks in 48 innings.
* Allison Smith, Champion (Warren) SoftballJunior did it all in a 3-0 D-III regional final win over Northwestern. Went 3-for-3 at the plate with two home runs, two RBI, two runs and a double. Winning pitcher also tossed her 12th complete game shutout, allowed two hits and struck out 16. She is 15-0 with a .15 ERA and is batting .512 with 49 runs, 41 RBI and 18 HRs.

shutout win over Mechanicsburg in the D-IV state final. She was 2-for-3
with an RBI at the plate. Allowed four hits and struck out 13 in a
complete-game 1-0 shutout win over Peebles in the state semifinals.
* Cassidy Shaffer, Champion (Warren) SoftballSophomore
broke open a scoreless D-III state final by hitting back-to-back home
runs in the 6th and 7th innings. She accounted for all five runs as the
Flashes won their third straight state championship. Ends the seasons
with team-highs in batting average (.541), hits (53), RBI (58) and
doubles (18). Ranks second in runs (42) and third in home runs (10).
* Justina Sirohman, Louisville SoftballFacing
a 3-2 count with two outs and her team trailing 9-6 in the seventh
inning of the D-I state final, the senior hit a three-run double to tie
the game, which Louisville eventually won 14-10 in 10-innings. Ended the
state final three hits and five RBI.
