Basketball Game Preview: Mountain Valley Falcons vs. Hall-Dale Bulldogs

The Mountain Valley Falcons will venture away from home to face off against the Hall-Dale Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Mountain Valley will be strutting in after a win while Hall-Dale will be coming in after a defeat.

Hall-Dale will be up against a hot Mountain Valley team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Mountain Valley sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 47-45 victory over Dirigo on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Hall-Dale's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 44-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mount Abram. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Mountain Valley's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Hall-Dale, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.

Mountain Valley lost to Hall-Dale on the road by a decisive 70-52 margin when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Mountain Valley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
