            Baseball Recap: Nevada Union Miners vs. Colfax Falcons        
        
		
        
        
            Nevada Union unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Colfax Falcons by a score of  7-5 on Wednesday. Sadly, the  loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.
  Nate Hundemer was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring two  runs while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Isaac Arnerich, who  went 1-for-3 with one  home run.
Colfax's win bumped their record up to 2-0.
 Looking ahead, Nevada Union will host Pleasant Valley  at 3:30  p.m.  on February 26th. As for Colfax, they will face off against Rosemont at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday.
