Softball Recap: St. Mary Catholic Takes a Loss

St. Mary Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 7-3 to the Reedsville Panthers. The Zephyrs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

St. Mary Catholic saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabrielle Guerrero, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

St. Mary Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Reedsville, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Mary Catholic will venture away from home to face off against Howards Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Reedsville, they will head out to take on Sevastopol at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
