Creede has gone 8-2 against Mountain Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 11:00 a.m. Mountain Valley took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Creede, who comes in off a win.

Last Saturday, Creede beat Centennial 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Miners.

Creede had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 12-25, 25-23, 25-20, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Mountain Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Primero.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-20, 25-20.

Mountain Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Creede, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.

Creede skirted past Mountain Valley 2-1 when the teams last played back in September. Will the Miners repeat their success, or do the Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
